Ralph Buckner, Jr, CFSP,
Owner, Licensed Funeral Director, Certified PreNeed Consultant

Ralph Buckner, Jr. has many years of experience in the funeral home business in this community. He is a licensed funeral director and licensed insurance agent in the state of Tennessee and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Tennessee Wesleyan College, is a LSU Graduate School of Banking and has a Master of Business Administration from the Robert C. Goizueta Business School at Emory University. Mr. Buckner is one of a select group of individuals in the United States to have earned the designation of Certified Pre-planning Consultant (CPC) by the Funeral Service Educational Foundation as well as a Certified Funeral Service Practitioner (CFSP) which is recognized by the Academy of Professional Funeral Service Practice. He is also a former Director for the Tennessee State Board of Funeral Directors and Embalmers and is also a member of that organization.

Locally, desiring to give back to his community, Buckner serves in a number of capacities with various organizations such as United Way where he is a member of the board of directors and past co-chairman of the Pillars Club and a mem ber of the Alexis de Tocqueville Society. He is also the recipient of the William F. Johnson Community Service Award, is a member of the Cleveland/Bradley County Education Foundation, serves on the Cleveland State Community College President’s business roundtable and is a past board member of the Cleveland/Bradley Chamber of Commerce. He and his wife Chari, also an owner of the funeral home, have four children, Brandon, Shipley, Stella and Paris.

Kim Randolph, CLU
Owner, Licensed Funeral Director, Certified Pre-Planning Consultant

After 25 years of service as General Agent with the Bradley County Farm Bureau, Mr. Randolph joined Ralph Buckner Funeral Home in 1999. A co-owner of the funeral home, he is a lifelong resident of Bradley County and has long been active in the community where he is a member of the Rotary Club and Taylor's Ruritan Club. He is a Chartered Life Underwriter, a prestigious designation achieved by professionals in insurance and financial services by completing a comprehensive program of educational, experience and ethical requirements. He and his wife Donna have three children, Jason, Jeremy and Bethany and four grandchildren.

Donna Randolph,
Licensed Funeral Director, Ralph Buckner Funeral Homes Business Manager

As Business Manager and Licensed Funeral Director, Donna Randolph oversees innumerable details important to the day-to-day operation of Ralph Buckner Funeral Homes. Ms. Randolph is a graduate of McMinn Central High School and Cleveland State Community College. She has served as a volunteer with several community organizations and is a member of Union Grove Church of Christ. She and her husband Kim’s family include Jason and Katie Randolph and their daughter Ella, Jeremy and Kathryn Randolph and their children Abi and Max and Bethany and John Hogan and their son Noah.

Jeremy Randolph,
Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer

A 1997 graduate of Bradley Central High School, Jeremy is a native of Bradley County and has been with Ralph Buckner Funeral home since 1997. He received his degree in Mortuary Science from the John A. Gupton School in Nashville.He and his wife. Katherine has two children Abi and Max.

Eric Arnold Botts,
Licensed Funeral Director

Eric is a native of Cleveland, Bradley County and is a graduate of Bradley Central High School, Cleveland State Community College and studied Business Administration at the University of Tennesee at Chattanooga. He has been with Ralph Buckner Funeral Home for over five years and is a Licensed Funeral Director. Eric also is a pre-need consultant and assists in marketing and advertising. He is a member of First Baptist Church.

Tommy Benson,
Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer

Tommy has provided comfort to families in their time of need for some 35 years. Living in Cleveland for 34 years, Tommy graduated from Etowah High School and is a graduate of the University of Kentucky, School of Mortuary Science. Tommy has been involved in numerous civic activities including the Lions Club and the Red Cross. He is the Director of the Mortuary Disaster Response Unit with the Bradley County Emergency Management team. Tommy is also a member of the Bradley Home Health & Hospice Board of Directors and is a Certified Eye Enucleation Technician. He attends First Baptist Church of Cleveland.

Beci Itson Humphrey,
Administrative Assistant

Beci Humphrey assists with the daily office-related functions of the funeral home. She has been with the funeral home for seven years and counts it a blessing to be able to assist our families. She is married to Dudley Humphrey and they have two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and April Itson and Matthew and Megan Itson. They have two granddaughters, Julia and Alayna Itson. She and Dudley attend North Cleveland Church of God.

Johnnie Humberd,
Licensed Funeral Director

A lifelong resident of Bradley County, Johnnie Humberd attended Bradley County High School and Tennessee Wesleyan College and later served in the Korean Conflict. For 37 years, Mr. Humberd was employed with a local industry while also working in the funeral home business. He has been with Ralph Buckner Funeral Home over 9 years. He is married and has two children and six grandchildren. They are members of Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church.

Doyle Mayton,
Licensed Funeral Director, Music Director, Bridgemakers staff

As Director of Music since the funeral home's opening, Doyle Mayton's musical talent provides comfort to families and friends during a difficult time. He has resided in the Cleveland area for over 60 years. Prior to joining Ralph Buckner Funeral Home, Mr. Mayton gained extensive management experience with a local Fortune 500 company. He assists the Bridgemakers Support group on a regular basis. He and his wife Linda attend Mt. Carmel Baptist Church.

Jim Gold,
Licensed Funeral Director

Jim Gold is a lifelong resident of Bradley County and a graduate of Bradley Central High School. He has over 25 years of experience in the funeral home industry and is a member of East Side Church of Christ.

Brandon Miller,
Apprentice Funeral Director

Brandon came to the Cleveland area in 2003 and is a new addition to Ralph Buckner Funeral Home. He is a graduate of Tennessee Technological University and is a Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator. His duties include assisting with funeral services, handling day to day network tasks and creating DVD’s and collages for families. He and his wife just celebrated the birth of their first child Vivian Brooke.

Paula Patton,
Staff

Paula is a teacher with the Bradley County school system at Black Fox School. She is a member of Westmore Church of God and is an active member of the church choir.
