Joseph "Joe" Albert Gravelle, 61, of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, July 10, 2010 in a Morristown hospital. He was the financial manager for the Olin Corporation for 36 years. He was an avid golfer. He was a member of St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church. He was a loving father and "Papa Joe" to his granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Reema Sarkees Gravelle.
He is survived by his sons, Mark Gravelle and wife, Olivia of Cleveland and Joey Gravelle and Jessica Roberts of Nashville; granddaughter, Addyson Laine Irene Gravelle of Cleveland; sisters, Jerilyn Cobb and husband, James of Hilton, NY and Janine Lee and husband, Andrew of Clifton Park, NY; several nieces and nephews; and best friend and soul mate, Cynthia Elkins of Cleveland.
His family will receive friends on Thursday, July 15, 2010 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home.
The family suggests that memorials be made to the American Heart Association, 519 E. 4th Street, Chattanooga, TN 37403 or the charity of their choice.
