Marvin R. Wilson, Jr., 59, of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, July 10, 2010. He was born December 30, 1950 in Alexandria, VA. In 1965 his family relocated to San Francisco, CA where he attended high school and college. In the fall of 1977, he move to Cleveland.
A published playwright, he held a variety of positions over the years. He loved golf, his dogs, working on his house and in his yard, and living life to the fullest.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Helen J. Wilson and Marvin R. Wilson.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Sharon Wilson.
A private memorial will be held.
The family suggests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, 6221 Shallowford Road, Chattanooga, TN 37421; St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105; or the American Heart Association, 519 E. 4th Street, Chattanooga, TN 37403.
