Biography

Norma Lee Barrett, 72, passed away Thursday, February 25, 2010 in a local healthcare facility. She was a lifelong resident of Bradley County. She was employed by the Cleveland City School System for more than 27 years, where she has many lifelong friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Vergie and C. J. Wyatt; brother, Doug Wyatt; sister, Linda Kelly; and a son, Rodney Wyatt Barrett.

Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Donnie E. Barrett, Sr.; son, James Barrett of Franklin, TN; daughters, Cindy Howsan of Cleveland and Deidra Bell of Jackson, MS; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; sister, Jo Schultz of Cleveland; and brothers, Jimmy Wyatt and Larry Wyatt, both of Cleveland.

There will be no services held at this time.

The family requests that memorials be made to the American Heart Association, 519 E. 4th Street, Chattanooga, TN 37403 or the American Cancer Society, 6221 Shallowford Road, Chattanooga, TN 37421.
