Ralph Buckner, Jr, CFSP,

Ralph Buckner, Jr. has many years of experience in the funeral home business in this community. He is a licensed funeral director and licensed insurance agent in the state of Tennessee and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Tennessee Wesleyan College, is a LSU Graduate School of Banking and has a Master of Business Administration from the Robert C. Goizueta Business School at Emory University. Mr. Buckner is one of a select group of individuals in the United States to have earned the designation of Certified Pre-planning Consultant (CPC) by the Funeral Service Educational Foundation as well as a Certified Funeral Service Practitioner (CFSP) which is recognized by the Academy of Professional Funeral Service Practice. He is also a former Director for the Tennessee State Board of Funeral Directors and Embalmers and is also a member of that organization.

Locally, desiring to give back to his community, Buckner serves in a number of capacities with various organizations such as United Way where he is a member of the board of directors and past co-chairman of the Pillars Club and a member of the Alexis de Tocqueville Society. He is also the recipient of the William F. Johnson Community Service Award, is a member of the Cleveland/Bradley County Education Foundation, serves on the Cleveland State Community College President’s business roundtable and is a past board member of the Cleveland/Bradley Chamber of Commerce. He and his wife Chari, also an owner of the funeral home, have four children, Brandon, Shipley, Stella and Paris.



Kim Randolph, CLU

Owner, Licensed Funeral Director, Certified Pre-Planning Consultant

After 25 years of service as General Agent with the Bradley County Farm Bureau, Mr. Randolph joined Ralph Buckner Funeral Home in 1999. A co-owner of the funeral home, he is a lifelong resident of Bradley County and has long been active in the community where he is a member of the Rotary Club and Taylor's Ruritan Club. He is a Chartered Life Underwriter, a prestigious designation achieved by professionals in insurance and financial services by completing a comprehensive program of educational, experience and ethical requirements. He and his wife Donna have three children, Jason, Jeremy and Bethany and four grandchildren.

Scot Carter

Co-Owner, Vice President of Community Relations

Scot has recently partnered with Ralph Buckner Jr. and Kim Randolph as a co-owner of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home and also joins the Board of Directors and is Vice President of Community Relations. He is a graduate of Lee Univeristy and holds a Masters Degree from the University of Tennessee. He is also the Director of Communications for the Church of God. Scot and his wife Susan have two children Kaitlyn and Caroline. They attend North Cleveland Church of God.



Donna Randolph

Licensed Funeral Director, Ralph Buckner Funeral Homes Business Manager

As Business Manager and Licensed Funeral Director, Donna Randolph oversees innumerable details important to the day-to-day operation of Ralph Buckner Funeral Homes. Ms. Randolph is a graduate of McMinn Central High School and Cleveland State Community College. She has served as a volunteer with several community organizations and is a member of Union Grove Church of Christ. She and her husband Kim’s family include Jason and Katie Randolph and their daughter Ella, Jeremy and Kathryn Randolph and their children Abi and Max and Bethany and John Hogan and their son Noah.



Jeremy Randolph

Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer

A 1997 graduate of Bradley Central High School, Jeremy is a native of Bradley County and has been with Ralph Buckner Funeral home since 1997. He received his degree in Mortuary Science from the John A. Gupton School in Nashville. He and his wife. Katherine has two children Abi and Max.




Eric Arnold Botts

Licensed Funeral Director

Eric is a native of Cleveland, Bradley County and is a graduate of Bradley Central High School, Cleveland State Community College and studied Business Administration at the University of Tennesee at Chattanooga. He has been with Ralph Buckner Funeral Home for over five years and is a Licensed Funeral Director. Eric also is a pre-need consultant and assists in marketing and advertising. He is a member of First Baptist Church.



Johnnie Humberd

Licensed Funeral Director

A lifelong resident of Bradley County, Johnnie Humberd attended Bradley County High School and Tennessee Wesleyan College and later served in the Korean Conflict. For 37 years, Mr. Humberd was employed with a local industry while also working in the funeral home business. He has been with Ralph Buckner Funeral Home over 9 years. He is married and has two children and six grandchildren. They are members of Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church.



Reverend Max Morris

Grief Counselor

Max received a BA degree from Lee University and his MA from George Peabody-Vanderbilt in Nashville, TN. He became a Church of God Ordained Mininster in 1962 and has had pastoral ministries in Tennessee, South Carolina and Florida. He started World Wide Prayer Partners Ministry in January 1997 and His Hands Extended Interdenominational Devotional in September 1999. He is married to Elizabeth Joan Atkins Morris and they will celebrate their fifty-third wedding anniversary in August of this year. They have two sons, Dr. Michael Lane Morris of Knoxville, TN and Reverend Marc Atkins Morris of Silang, Cavite Philippines. They have five grandchildren..



Beci Humphrey

Executive Assistant to Ralph Buckner Funeral Homes

Beci Humphrey has returned to Ralph Buckner Funeral Home as the Executive Assistant to Ralph Buckner Funeral Homes. Her duties will include the administration of day-to-day activities of the various funeral homes. Beci originally worked for Stella Buckner, Buckner’s mother. “The one thing that Mrs. Buckner taught me was the importance of families,” stated Beci.Beci is married to Dudley Humphrey. She has two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and April Itson of Cleveland and Matthew and Megan Itson of York, England and three granddaughters; Julia, Alayna and Amelia Itson. Beci and Dudley attend North Cleveland Church of God.



Pam Watkins

Administrative Assistant

Before joining Ralph Buckner Funeral Home, Pam managed an area business for 20 years. She has a BS degree from Lee University and a Masters degree from the University of Tennessee. She is a member of Westmore Church of God. She is actively involved with alumni groups from Lee University and enjoys reading, traveling and scrapbooking. Pam assists with the daily office-related functions of the funeral home. Sheis very family oriented and enjoys spending time with her family, including her special nieces and nephews.



Cathy Junell

Administrative Assistant

Cathy has been a part of the Ralph Buckner staff since 2006. Her responsibilities include filing of insurance as well as all activities related to obtaining death certificates. She is married to her husband Bill and they have two children and two grandchildren.



Paula Patton

Staff

Paula is a teacher with the Bradley County school system at Black Fox School. She is a member of Westmore Church of God and is an active member of the church choir.



Ben Stevenson

Director of Preplanning

Ben is 1983 graduate from The University of Memphis with a BBA degree in Marketing. Ben joined Ralph Buckner Funeral Home in 2002 as the General Manager of the Advanced Planning Department. Prior to joining the funeral home Ben spent 20 years in the Medical & Industrial Gas Industry. He has lived in Cleveland, TN for 13 years with his wife (Patti) and three children Dustin 21; Alex 16 and Austyn 13.



Jeff Robinson

Advanced Planning Sales Director

Living in Cleveland most of his life, Jeff is a graduate of Bradley Central High School. He attended Lee College and Middle Tennessee State University where he studied marketing and business management. Jeff has been a Licensed Insurance Agent since 1995 and began working with Ralph Buckner Funeral Home in 1999. He has 3 children, Meredith, Jared, and Kelsey and attends Westwood Baptist Church



Becky Buckner

Family Services Assistant

Becky came to Ralph Buckner Funeral Home Family Services department after retiring from Dr. Royce McBride’s dental practice. She was with the dentist office for over 17 years. A native of Bradley County, Becky returned to Cleveland after living in Ohio and Nebraska for a period of time. She is the mother of Amy Williams of Knoxville, TN and Eric Jeff of Jacksonville. While she has no grandchildren, she has a number of very special nieces and nephews. Becky enjoys reading, shopping, traveling and is a member of First Baptist Church.
